The Texas Area Workshop on Mind and Value aims to bring together philosophers working at the intersection of value theory with philosophy of mind. It promotes work exploring the relevance of consciousness, agency, desire, and other mental phenomena to what matters, as well as the contributions that value theory can make to understanding the mind.
The workshop will rotate around Texas universities annually, beginning with the inaugural meeting at Texas Tech University, on 20th and 21st February 2026. For any inquiries, please email us at texasmindandvalue@gmail.com.
